Wow! In eloquent, easy-to-understand English, this book tells us about the first theory of the universe that may actually be true. This book seeks to reconcile the cosmology of culture with the cosmology of science, to give us a science based explanation of our place in the universe. The authors share their excitement that “human beings can personally connect in a meaningful way to the real cosmos.” NPR chose this book as the only science title in their top 10 summer reading list. This book is a classic in its own time. I found myself underlining almost every other sentence.
