The Great American Eclipse on August 21, 2017, gave us the ability to experience the universe from a whole new perspective. Sharing the passion for science and understanding our place in the cosmos with people from around the world was awe inspiring. While some may say that sharing songs about this event is corny, it was actually a beautiful opportunity to express shared enthusiasm for our place in the cosmos.

My husband, neighbor and I channeled our enthusiasm for the eclipse into rewriting popular and easy to sing songs to celebrate this auspicious event.
We joined thousands of other eclipse enthusiasts from across the world in Wyoming. We camped in the fields of the Sunburst Bed and Breakfast, which had been booked for months.
Like so many, we are so deeply inspired by the glory of nature and the Power that creates it. We are also amazed by humans’ astonishing ability to peer into the unseen aspects of nature and to predict events such as an eclipse.
